About the artist: Tammy Wampler’s path to becoming an artist was like the ever-turning spiral. She worked as an archaeologist, a massage and reiki practitioner, and a tarot and past-life reader, before focussing on her art full-time. Tammy draws on her deep understanding of myth and history as well as her intuitive knowledge of symbolism and culture in the creation of oracle decks.
Found in public and private collections and exhibited worldwide, Tammy’s artworks concentrate on the figurative and are expressed in oils, acrylics, and soft pastels. Her creations are influenced by Magic Realism, Art Nouveau, and Fantasy and convey a strong sense of emotion through the eyes of her subjects. Tammy’s exploration of strength and vulnerability is woven with shamanism, mysticism and myth to portray engaging feminine archetypes.
Tammy lives in the beautiful Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, USA with her husband, two teens, three cats, and a golden retriever. Discover more of her work at tammywampler.artweb.com.
