The deck is bit out of the standard – more narrow than a usual tarot cards deck, which can make it easier to handle.
The cards are of imperishable classic Gothic style – only red, white and black colors. The art of Major Arcana is very sophisticated and attractive.

Cruel Thing Tarot follows Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, but there are no figures on the Minor Arcana. We see a schematic image of symbols only instead. It is very inspiring in some sort of sense.

The deck is distinctively masculine. It doesn’t help much to get into human emotions – it seems, that it’s just not what it is about. It is more into global issues, problems of intellectual and spiritual growth. Sloppy sentimentality is not for the Cruel Thing.

The story of the deck is also interesting – it is created after Cruel Thing saga.
